Android app – Button Savior
Whether you’re afraid of breaking your Galaxy phone’s buttons or unhappy that your phone’s Home button has started to become unresponsive, the Button Savior (Free/$1.96) can help.
This app creates a list of floating software buttons – Back, Recent, Home, Power, Phone, Camera and Volume – that have the similar functions of the physical buttons built around your device.
Now, instead of pressing the soon to be worn out Home button to exit to Home screen, tap the Home icon on your touch screen.

What do you like about this app ?
- This app features buttons that simulate most of the hardware buttons on an Android device. The menu button is the only button being left out here, which I was told it’s available in the root version.
- The customization of Button Savior is great. If you’re not happy with the given themes, purchase the HD theme pack here for greater selection.
- Various methods are given on how would you want to trigger and hide the floating buttons.
Things you should know about this app ?
- The Pro (paid) version comes with additional features such as the abilities to remap and reorder the buttons and customize the number of buttons per row.
- As per the developer’s advice, try out the FREE version first to make sure it works on your phone before getting the Pro version.
