How do I add a Wi-Fi settings shortcut on the Home screen of my Galaxy S7 Edge?
There’s no settings widget on the Galaxy S7 Edge. However, you can download Nova Launcher and use ONLY its Activities widget to create a shortcut to the Wi-Fi settings. A method that I’ve learned from this thread.
To create a Wi-Fi settings shortcut using Nova Launcher:
- On your Galaxy phone, download Nova Launcher from the Google Play store.
- If you get a prompt to select a launcher after downloading Nova, tap TouchWiz Home. Note: The reason for doing so is because we just want to use the widget from Nova but not the launcher itself.
- Tap and drag an Activities widget to a Home screen, then select Settings > Wi-Fi .wifi. WifiSettings.
- You should now see the Wi-Fi settings shortcut.
Tip: You can uninstall the Nova app, the widget will still work.
